NICHELLE
Hello! I'm Nichelle and owner of TAOH Studio. I’ve been a licensed stylist for 8 years with specialties in curls, blondes, and extensions. With curls, I am certified in the RëzoCut (Level 2), DevaCut (Level 1), Controlled Choas Cut, Ouidad, and Ambushed Curl Academy. I have taken courses from Desert Curl Studio, Evan Joseph Curls, and Forever Curls. I have a huge passion for curls and love to help educated anyone on their curl journey!
SASHA
My name is Sasha Bustamante. I have been a hairstylist for 15 years now and the Senior Stylist at TAOH Studio. I am an artist at heart and love to express that through hair! I have done men’s hair my whole career and I am very detail oriented, so that was fun for me - but after getting my first cut with Nichelle I just had to learn how to do curly cuts. I know how life-changing a curly cut can be and I get so excited to be able to give that to someone else. I’m so thankful she taught me! I am a wife to a good man, and also a mom to two wonderful little boys that keep me busy in the best ways. I love spending time reading and traveling with my family! Can’t wait to be part of your journey and you mine!
MARLIE
Hello! My name is Marlie, and I’m a dedicated curly hair specialist based in Lubbock, Texas. I am the Designer Stylist at the salon. I graduated from cosmetology school in April 2022 while still in high school at Cooper. My passion for hair truly blossomed when I began my career at @taohstudio, just before my 18th birthday. There, I had the privilege of training under Nichelle, Lubbock’s leading curly hair expert, for nearly two years. Today, I am excited to be working back at TAOH Studio, going on 3 years of curl experience! Beyond the salon, I’m a lover of live music and enjoy attending concerts with friends. Family and friends play a significant role in my life, and I often share stories about my older sister, Maddy, and best friend, Avary. You might spot my signature colors—pink and red—throughout your feed. I’m also an avid vinyl collector and love inspiring others to start their own collections.

Hi! I'm Alyssa, a curly hair stylist here at TAOH Studio! Learning about curly hair has been life-changing and I’m excited to further expand my curly hair knowledge and skills. I’m passionate about helping others love and embrace their curls with confidence! A little about me: I love all things pink, and when I’m not at the salon, you can usually find me with my nose in a good book or in the kitchen cooking or baking something yummy! I can’t wait to welcome you to my chair and help you love your curls as much as I do!
ANGELA
Hey there, I’m Angela! I’m a Curly Hair Specialist at TAOH Studio, where I help people fall in love with their natural curls! With a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Texas Tech University, I’m all about blending beauty with wellness, understanding how movement and hair care go hand-in-hand to keep you looking and feeling your best! I’ve always had a passion for hair and makeup, and after becoming a licensed cosmetologist, I’m excited to finally be living my dream. As the oldest of four, family is everything to me, and I bring that same sense of care and connection into every client appointment. Outside of the salon, I live a life fueled by faith, fitness, and a love for all things beauty. I can’t wait to help you embrace your curls and find the perfect style that works for you!
